The largest Legoland in the world is scheduled to open this coming October in Florida. This will be the fifth theme park for the company with the other sites located in California, Germany, Denmark, and the United Kingdom.
The news was confirmed by the Visitor and Convention Bureau of the state of Florida. They also disclosed that the Legoland Florida will be constructed on a 150 acre portion of the Cypress Gardens.. The gates of Legoland Florida will officially open on October 15. The new Legoland will have more than fifty rides, attractions and shows.
The park will also have a retail store for different Lego products, a big 4D theater that can accommodate 700 people at a time, different shows, and a clubhouse where children can enjoy the LEGO universe. Other structures in the Cypress Garden have also been remodeled to go with the theme of Legoland.
